Tonight, the WNBA will have it’s annual draft. The NY Liberty has a great chance to get an impact player with the No. 2 pick in the first round. That said, here are our predictions:
1.Las Vegas Aces-Jackie Young,G Notre Dame. Might trade this pick
2.NY Liberty,Asia Durr,G Louisville. Best player in the draft.
3.Indiana Fever-Teaira McGowan,C Mississippi State. Best center in the draft.
4.Chicago Sky-Kristine Anigwe, F Cal. Ferocious rebounder.
5.Dallas Wings- Kalani Brown,C Baylor. They won it all and she was a large part.
6.Minnesota Lynx- Arike Ogunbowale, G Notre Dame. Clutch shooter.Won it all in 2018.
7. LA Sparks- Napheesa Collier, F UConn. Great athlete.Best player on a great team.
8.Phoenix Mercury- Alanna Smith, F Stanford. Best player on a very good team.
9.Connecticut Sun- Katie Lou Samuelson, F UConn. The Sun need UConn players.
10. Washington Mystics- Megan Gustafson, C Iowa. National Player of the Year.
11.Atlanta Dream- Sophie Cunningham, G Missouri. Can really shoot it for a team which needs shooting.
12. Seattle Storm- Bridget Carleton, G Iowa State. Very versatile player.
