(Bridgeport, Conn., May 25, 2017) – Thursday’s (May 25) game between the Long Island Ducks and Bridgeport Bluefish at The Ballpark at Harbor Yard has been postponed due to inclement weather.
Thursday’s (5/25) game will be made up as part of a single admission doubleheader in Bridgeport on Friday, June 2. First pitch for game one is scheduled for 5:12 p.m., with game two slated to begin approximately 30 minutes after the completion of the opener. Both games are scheduled for seven innings.
The Ducks return home on Friday to kick off a four-game series against the Lancaster Barnstormers. Game time is slated for 6:35 pm, with the Bethpage Ballpark gates opening at 5:35 (5:20 for full-season ticket holders). It’s a Fowl Pole Friday at the Duck Pond, and if a select Ducks player hits a home run off of one of the foul poles during the game, one lucky fan will win $50,000. In addition, a Barnstormers player will be selected as the Pizza Hut K-Man of the game. If that player strikes out, fans will receive a special offer for a FREE 1-Topping Personal Pan Pizza at a participating Pizza Hut location.
Tickets to the game, and all Ducks home games, are available by visiting the Bethpage Ballpark box office, calling (631) 940-TIXX. Those unable to make the game can follow all the action online on the Long Island Ducks Broadcast Network.
