Tyler Twirls Gem as Ducks Sweep Aside Revs

(York, Pa., May 3, 2017) – The Long Island Ducks defeated the York Revolution 8-5 on Wednesday night in the nightcap of a day/night doubleheader and finale of a four-game series at PeoplesBank Park. Long Island took the opening game of the twinbill 7-2 earlier in the day.

The Ducks erupted for three runs in the first inning off Revolution starter Steve Janas. An RBI single by Angelo Songco and a two-run home run to left-center field off the bat of Nolan Reimold highlighted the scoring. The Revolution tried to complete the comeback in the eighth when they scored three runs on an RBI double by Michael Burgess and a two-run single from Alen. However, they would get no closer.
