Coutinho Goes One-On-One With Josh Smoker

PORT ST. LUCIE – There are very few open roster spots for the New York Mets this spring. The lineup is full and the rotation is more than set. However, the bullpen always needs arms and 28 year-old lefty Josh Smoker has manager Terry Collins attention.

With a 1.74 ERA in 10 games, Smoker seems to be on track for a roster spot in Flushing this April.

NY Sports Day’s Rich Coutinho spoke with Smoker about his spring and what he can do for the club.
