The New Jersey Devils’ eight-game pre-season schedule – all vs. Eastern Conference opponents – will consist of three home games and five road matches, including two neutral-site “road” contests.
In addition, the club will have a set of split-squad games to open the pre-season on September 26: home vs. Philadelphia (7 p.m.) and at the Bell Centre to take on Montreal (7:30 p.m.).
The Devils’ remaining pre-season home games are set as follows: Sat., Oct. 1 vs. NY Rangers and Wed., Oct. 5 vs. NY Islanders. All three games will get underway at Prudential Center at 7 p.m.
The rest of the road portion of the team’s pre-season slate is: Wed., Sept. 28at Philadelphia at the PPL Center, home of the Lehigh Valley Phantoms, the Flyers’ AHL affiliate (7 p.m.); Thu., Sept. 29 at NY Rangers (7 p.m.); Mon., Oct. 3 at NY Islanders (7 p.m.) and Sat., Oct. 8 against the Florida Panthers at Tate Ice Rink in West Point, NY (7:30 p.m.).
