Jerome Frink had 25 points to lead LIU Brooklyn past Maine, 84-79, on Thursday night.
Frink shot 9-for-11 from the field, and hauled in nine rebounds, and grabbed a steal.
Martin Hermansson had 23 points on 7-for-14 shooting, and 0-4 on threes, with two rebounds and an assist.
Akim Saintil had 12 points (4-9 FG, 1-4 on threes), four rebounds, four assists, and four steals off the bench.
This was LIU’s home opener and they are 2-0 on the season.
