Be Patriotic With The Ducks

If you are feeling patriotic or just want to help out a good cause, the Long Island Ducks may have something right up your ally. The Fourth of July jerseys are being auctioned off from now until Military Appreciation night on August 1st.

Bids started at $75 and will be increased in minimum $10 increments. Bidding will run through the conclusion of the top of the seventh inning during the August 1 game against the Bridgeport Bluefish, with winners to be announced later that evening. Fans can place their bids at the Waddle In Shop between July 4 and August 1 or call in a bid by phone at (631) 940-3825 ext. 126 from July 6 through 31. No phone bids will be accepted on August 1.

Proceeds from the auction will benefit the QuackerJack Foundation, the charitable arm of the Long Island Ducks. All donations are tax deductible. The QuackerJack Foundation has contributed to thousands of non-profit and like organizations each year while bringing awareness to worthy programs and causes in need of assistance on Long Island.
