Elias Scores No. 400 As Devils Bury Leafs

Patrik Elias scores his 400th career goal as the Devils complete their homestand 4-0-1.

The Devils won the season series vs. the Maple Leafs, 3-0-0; it was the team’s first season sweep of Toronto since 2007-08 (4-0-0).

New Jersey now has points in a season-high six straight games (5-0-1), in ten of their last 12 games (8-2-2) and is 7-1-2 over its last ten at Prudential Center.

The team’s five-game point-streak is its longest since a seven-game stretch from March 23-April 5, 2014 (4-0-3).

Toronto outshot New Jersey, 34-17, tonight.
