NEW YORK, NY (January 14, 2015) – The New York Rangers today launched “My RangersTown,” presented by Enterprise Rent-A-Car, which provides loyal fans throughout the tri-state area the opportunity to share their personal stories of Blueshirts passion and pride. As a new aspect of the team’s popular “RangersTown” marketing campaign, the program includes the introduction of MyRangersTown.com, a digital community where fans can share their stories of dedication to the Rangers and view those from other Blueshirts faithful.
On MyRangersTown.com, fans can submit videos, photos and essays about their devotion to the Rangers and how the team has impacted their lives. All fans participating will be entered into a contest for a once-in-a-lifetime Grand Prize of having the ultimate Rangers celebration in their hometown prior to the start of the 2015-16 NHL season.
Today marks the start of a five-week submission period that ends on Thursday, Feb. 19, when five finalists will be announced from five different regions: New York City, Long Island, Westchester/Rockland County, New Jersey and Connecticut. The five finalists will have their videos featured in-arena during Rangers games and on MSG Network during Rangers broadcasts. The Grand Prize winner will be voted on by the fans. MSG Network will announce the Grand Prize recipient on-air during the Rangers game on March 24 against the Los Angeles Kings.

We’re looking forward to finding the team’s ultimate fan and turning their town into ‘RangersTown’ later this year.”
MyRangerstown.com will also feature weekly contests where fans can win prizes such as Rangers tickets and autographed memorabilia, with one lucky fan who participates in the voting process receiving a free trip on the Rangers Legends Cruise on Celebrity Cruise Lines at the end of July. The Rangers Road Tour, featuring Rangers alumni appearances and giveaways, will make weekend stops at all five regions during the submission period, with opportunities for Rangers fans to share their stories. These events will be showcased during Rangers broadcasts on MSG Network.
