RALLY: The Mets earned their second win this season when trailing after eight innings, rallying for today’s 3-2 win…They beat the Nationals on April 27 in Washington when they scored four times in the ninth inning and won, 6-3…Today was the 15th time the Mets have come from behind to win this season…Their last was an 8-5 victory on June 26 in Texas.
ATTENDANCE RECORD: The Mets drew 125,575 combined fans for the three contests with the Yankees, the largest ever total at Citi Field for a three-game series…Today’s attendance was 41,513, the third consecutive sellout at Citi Field… …Today’s sellout was the fourth this season at Citi Field (also, Friday, Saturday and April 8 vs. Washington).
