    Spoke to soon. Looks like he is leaving the game with a strained or pull oblique.

    A solid solid outing by Swarzak - 2nd and 3rd with one out and gets a K and a fly ball.

    On the broadcast today they seemed to be implying that the lineups have already been made for the first month of the season by the front office and Callaway. Becoming more and more common. Front office and analytic guys basically manage the team now. I'm sure that was a big problem for Terry.

    And what makes it worse is that Conforto doesn't seem that far away, so Nimmo's playing time to show what he can do is even more limited. If they don't know what Lagares can do (or, rather not do) after all this time especially along with his putrid ST where his "new" swing seemed to make it worse, taking away Nimmo's playing time isn't going to change that.

    Id like to see him turn into the Phillie Lenny Dykstra who lead the league in both hits and walks.

    Juan Samuel.

Either Conforto or Bruce have to go to 1st. No other way around it. Nimmo needs to be the primary CF'er/leadoff guy.
    Nimmo=Young Lenny Dykstra.

    Gsellman looked pumped out of the 'pen.

    Rosario with a clutch hit.

    Cespedes with a clutch hit on 1 foot.

    Nimmo on base 4 times.

    A-Gone turning it on after a putrid spring.

    Lots went right yesterday, let's keep it up.

    With our luck 2 of the 3 will get injured.
