    You are blaming Willie??

How about Wagner who can't go an inning without giving up a run?

How about Willie who let Wagner throw 40+ pitches?

Without even getting anyone UP in the bullpen?! Willie can't be allowed even to get on the plane to ATL.

That's the real kicker - he had no backup plan. I don't even think Willie scores on the IQ test.

In baseball, you'll often find that teams begin to reflect the disposition of their manager. I ask you this:

If Sweet Lou was managing (hypothetical here, not for Reyes etc) Do we get swept here in Philly?

I want to see SOMETHING from Willie. SOMETHING...even if your shoulder is ****ed, order Alomar or Hojo to throw a chair or something. Willie is like the worst carbon copy of Joe Torre you can get. It is really sickening. YOU ARE NOT JOE TORRE.

            REPEAT AFTER ME:

            WILLIE MUST GO!

            WILLIE MUST GO!

            WILLIE MUST GO!

            WILLIE MUST GO!

            WILLIE MUST GO!

            WILLIE MUST GO!

            WILLIE MUST GO!

            WILLIE MUST GO!

            WILLIE MUST GO!

            WILLIE MUST GO!

            WILLIE MUST GO!

I don't think it is too much to ask of your ten million dollar closer who hasn't pitched in days to get six f'in outs in a must have game in August. Especially when you have shaky bullpen.

Wagner ****ed up no doubt...but how about having a back up plan.

You mean your 10mil closer who has stunk up the joint lately, is complaining of a tired arm and hasn't pitched in a week nor has he recorded a 6 out save in 8 years?

If they do fire Willie, they better hire a manager who knows how to use a bullpen.

First Omar has to find a bullpen.

Willie must go! Omar should be right behind him.

                          For:
                          1) Omar turned Kris Benson into El Duque and John Maine.
                          2) Omar robbed Oliver Perez

                          Against:
                          1) Traded Bell and Ring for Adkins and Johnson
                          2) Traded Lindstrom and Owens for vargas
                          3) Traded Bannister for Burgous
                          4) Incorrectly waited for Dauner Sanchez instead of upgrading an already desperate bullpen
                          5) Incorrectlt waited for Pedro Martinez instead of upgrading at strarting pitcher. Brian Lawrence has not been the answer.
                          6) Scott Schowenweis deal
                          7) Aaron Sele deal
                          8) Gueirllmo Mota deal
                          9) Moises Alou (whom I like, but is much too brittle)
                          10) Sticking w/ Julio Franco for as long as he did

I don't care about the big signings...anyone w/ a checkbook that large can do that.

Imagine where this team would be if they had those arms in our pen right now.

this is a bullshit thread, if he took at Wagner you'd be blaming him for whomever he brought in, the real culprits in the end of that game, Marlon Anderson playing no doubles defense with nobody out and Wagner and LoDuca falling asleep at the wheel when Werth stole third.
