Super Soccer Stars, the nation’s premier youth soccer organization announced its dedicated commitment to improving the lives of children and youth in underprivileged communities and providing opportunities for kids with special needs in the U.S. and around the world. The N.Y.-based company is proud to partner with the Soccer Stars Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to extending the benefits of soccer.
The Soccer Stars Foundation’s approach to soccer is a tool for personal and social development. Through its partnership thousands of kids have been given the opportunity to participate in social outreach programs including physical and special needs, developing countries and awarded scholarships. To date, Super Soccer Stars and Soccer Stars United in conjunction with the foundation, has awarded over $300,000 in scholarship enrollments to its youth through its grants and donations and impacted hundreds of kids globally.
“The children look forward to their soccer classes with their coaches. They arrive excited and depart asking when the coaches will be back. There has not been a student who did not progress throughout his or her participation in the Soccer Stars Foundation’s soccer classes,” said George Yates, Adaptive P.E. Teacher, District 75. In support of Giving Tuesday, Super Soccer Stars and Soccer Stars United announced it will be making an additional donation of over $100,000 to the foundation incrementally helping more kids achieve their goals in 2020.
“I believe regardless of socio-economic status or special needs, every child should have the opportunity to experience the sport of soccer. Super Soccer Stars will continue to strive make its programs accessible allowing all players ability to play the greatest sport in the world.
