Judge Cards Push Topps NOW Over 1 Million Mark

Aaron Judge hasn’t just been the most prolific slugger in the American League in 2017… he’s also been the most prolific mover of Topps NOW cards. The program which allows fans and collectors to purchase cards highlighting the previous day’s action surpassed the 1,000,000 sales mark, with Judge pieces accounting for a tenth of that total, or more than 100,000.

From Topps’ announcement today:

The Topps NOW card featuring Judge’s record-breaking 50th home run as a rookie sold 16,138 copies, which broke the Topps NOW single-card record by nearly 5,000 cards. The Topps NOW card commemorating Ichiro’s 3,000th career from 2016 held the previous record, which stood at 11,550. In total, Judge’s Topps NOW cards have sold nearly 100,000 copies.

The venerable company will continue to produce Topps NOW cards throughout the playoffs for the second straight year. Yankee fans hope a few more highlight moments from their rookie right fielder will keep this winning trend going.
