Eating At The Open: Pat LaFrieda’s Sandwiches Are Outstanding

If you are a foodie like me and visiting the US Open, there’s a wide variety of selections for every taste.

However, the Pat LaFrieda selections tower among them all.

With stands in right in the main courtyard of the tennis center and one in Arthur Ashe Stadium, it’s easily accessible for anyone attending the US Open.

The signature steak sandwich is outstanding. It comes with caramelized onions and cheese and also excellent is the chicken parmigiana sandwich. It’s not heavy, but a lighter meal for those interested.

Also on the Italian front is the meatball hero with a light marinara sauce and even the hot dog is delicious.

Top it off with the tater tots. They may have been the best I have ever tasted.

Pat LaFrieda is a must of a see as Roger Federer.
