After hearing Dr. A’s insights, I may drop Freeman just a bit in my RB ranks, and take DeMarco Murray ahead of him for sure. But should you draft scared? Not fully, but if you have a tough decision between Freeman and another player, this sort of news will make you veer in another direction. But I would not let him slip far in the second round. The production will be too good when he is on the field, and football is a game where anyone can get hurt at any time, especially at running back as Dr. A indicates in the interview.
Dr. A also touches on the recent concussion news about Jay Ajayi. The Miami RB seems to be less of a risk than Freeman from the overall health perspective. Ajayi has dealt with other injury issues in the past, but Dr. A seems less concerned about Ajayi when compared to Freeman. Both players are being taken as RB1s this season.
