Going 8-3 in their last 11 games, the Mets got back to the .500 mark and one of the main reasons has been the play of Michael Conforto.
Since Terry Collins inserted Conforto into the lead-off position the outfielder ignited the Mets offense, hitting .330 with eight homers and 21 RBI. He has hit both lefties and righties and looks locked in at the plate.
Today, NYSD’s Rich Coutinho spoke with the Mets young outfield about his hitting style, his start and how the clubhouse is handling the Matt Harvey situation.
