Mets pitcher Noah Syndergaard tweeted a message to the Met fans this evening, thanking them for all the support and vowing to come back stronger than before.

Syndergaard was diagnosed today with a partially torn lat muscle, which is expected to keep him out an undisclosed period of time. However, Steven Matz had the same injury in 2015 and missed almost two months.
