Last night in New York City, Chef and co-host of ABC’s The Chew, Carla Hall, along with Amanda Kludt, editor-in-chief of Eater.com hosted the 2016 Eater Awards at Union Fare. The decadent evening, which featured custom dishes from select 2016 Eater Award winners and original cocktail pairings from Ketel One Vodka, recognized top restaurants, bars, and food & beverage industry key players, who together represent the best in American dining. Big winners of the night included Chef of the Year, Missy Robbins and Restaurant of the Year, Olmstead.
By the bar, Yankees pitcher and hometown hero Dellin Betances could be seen shaking up a few of the Ketel One creations, The 1691, The Legacy, and Perfection, with mixologists Moses Laboy of Bottle and Bine and Jeff Bell from PDT.
Ketel One Vodka was excited to partner with Eater for this joyous occasion and helped to recognize La Guelaguetza, a Southern California, family-run eatery specializing in traditional Oaxacan fare.
