Mets fans know Alexa Datt as the person who brings you all the how’s and why’s around CitiField as their in-game host. Now she has a morning show to call her own. This week, the University of Maryland grad and longtime sports anchor Michael Kim began hosting 120 Sports “The Morning Run” live from Major League Baseball Advanced Media Studios in Chelsea. The show is the fast-growing morning roundup show for the all-digital network, which is based in Chicago and can claim MLB, the NHL, Sports Illustrated and the PGA Tour as its investors and partners. The show will combine game highlight video, live guests and social interaction in a quick and easy format from 8 to 11 each day.
Datt was the Mets preseason sideline reporter for SportsNet NY and has worked as a sideline reporter across many sports for the past seven years and has guest hosted for Bleacher Report and appeared on the Players Tribune radio show on Sirius XM. Most recently, the “Datt’s What She Said” podcast, a mix of sports talk, comedy and exclusive interviews that has featured such stars as Mike Tyson, Oscar De La Hoya, Katie Nolan, Jim Lampley and Victor Cruz.

The remainder of 120’s daily programming lineup will continue to be produced out of Chicago and conclude each evening at 2 a.m. (ET).
