John McEnroe, Patrick McEnroe, James Blake, Mats Wilander, Chelsea Handler, Patty Smyth, Nate Ruess (lead singer of Fun) and others joined in to support the Johnny Mac Tennis Project’s 2nd Annual Hang Out in the Hamptons with Mac weekend at Sportime Amagansett.
Summer Chandler, Dom Mosejczuk and Olivia Benton attended the event with their parents, and played in the Pro Am. Chandler and Benton played an exhibition match with John and Patrick McEnroe to conclude the benefit weekend.
The Johnny Mac Tennis Project believes that tennis is a change agent and a sport of opportunity for New York City area children. Its Tennis Pathway to Success® provides multiple, year-round opportunities, from introductory programs provided to schools and community based organizations (CBOs), which focus on cultivating healthy lifestyles and self-discipline, to world-class tournament training for aspiring college scholarship recipients and professional athletes.
