Day 1 Notes At The Barclays

Patrick Reed leads just two weeks removed from representing the US in the Olympics. Reed shot a bogey-free 66 in the opening round today. recording three birdies and an eagle on the front nine against all pars on the back nine.

This is the third time Reed has held a lead or co-lead after 18 holes. Twice going onto victory and never finishing worse than runner-up.
