Rays Kiermaier Takes Ribeye Challenge For Charity

At least it wasn’t the big 96er.

It may have not been the steak John Candy devoured from The Great Outdoors, but it was still a hell of a meal that Tampa Bay Rays center fielder Kevin Kiermaier tried to devour last night for charity.

To help kick off their new dish nationwide, Smokey Bones Bar & Fire Grill in Clearwater, FL invited Kiermaier in to the restaurant to devour the entire family meal, which included a 35oz ribeye, two side salads, two baked potatoes and their signature Hot Bag O’ Donuts.

With spring training two weeks away needless to say Kiermaier did not finish the meal – since it feeds three people, however he was able to raise $4000.00 for Friends of Joshua House Foundation.
