Moments from the New York Derby

The New York Derby was this past Sunday, and which the Red Bulls beat the New York City Football Club 2-1 in their first-ever meeting. The game at Red Bull Arena had all the spectacle of a playoff game, as shown above with the players walking in and a lot of banners and intensity between the teams.

The fun began at the 33rd Street PATH Station, when NYC FC’s Third Rail fan group caused quite a ruckus at 3:30 PM, well ahead of the 7:00 kickoff. PATH was unprepared for the hundreds of fans, so they did not let them board the train in the station, and had them all move to their own separate train.
