Cyclones Reach Milestone after celebrating Seinfeld

The Brooklyn Cyclones played their 1,000th game on Tuesday afternoon, which was the second game of their doubleheader with the Hudson Valley Renegades at MCU Park.

The Cyclones won the first game of the doubleheader 3-0, led by Marcos Molina, who allowed just one hit in 5 innings, and Josh Prevost closed it out with two solid innings. Michael Bernal hit a two-run home run in the fourth inning to give the Cyclones a 3-0 lead.

In the second game, the Cyclones lost 3-0, as Hidson Valley’s Edgar Gomez (4 2/3 innings) and Isaac Gil (2 1/3 innings) combined for the shutout.

The Cyclones’ all-time record is now 593-407 and are one of only four teams in affiliated baseball to not have a losing season since 2001, their first year of existence.

On Saturday, the Cyclones celebrated Seinfeld Night, honoring the legendary show’s 25th anniversary. Below are photos showing some of the festivities:
