Chelsea? Scoff now, but that's easily the most talented team in the premiership IMO, escpecially if they get Alexandre Pato. And despite such an up and down season, they finished 7 points off the Kings of the World last year.

Cole can't stay on the pitch. Drogba can't stay out of trouble. I have no worries about Chelsea.

Two players who have had very little impact on recent teams. Cole was playing out of position as a striker and Drogba spends half his time on his back trying to win penalties. Without those two, they still have the top scorer in the prem and for my money the most talented midfield in the league. And now they have a great coach in Ancelotti and if they get Pato, they may not even need Drogba anymore.

Cole HAS to be part of the Chelsea run if they have any shot of winning. Yes he played out of position, but if you don't think Chelsea believes they need him to stay healthy, you're kidding yourself.

Anelka is called the Incredible Sulk for a reason.

Lampard scares me and I'll give you that.

Would they like to have Joe Cole back, uh yeah. BUT who does he displace in the first team? Not Essien, Lampard, or Ballack. He's lost the winger/forward role to Anelka. And he's nowhere near the pure goal scorer that Drogba is. Maybe Malouda, but even he looked AMAZING undr Guus. They can still win without him.

God bless Chelsea. Maybe US Soccer will be smart enough to pounce on Hidinck after the next cup? Then again, probably not (and I'm not a Bradley hater per se)...

Eto'o heading to Man U? President of Barcelona said Man U is ready to make an offer to Eto'o to make him the highest paid player in the world.

I thought Man City was on him? He seems to be pissed that they're listening to offers while heading into the last year of his contract. These guys would never survive in North American sports...

It is City. Man U should be in it for him because he would go a long way in placing Ronaldo, but I think they're a little gun shy over getting into direct competition with City for a player. City has way more money and money talks.

Does United still have any control over Rossi? It would seem like a no-brainer to bring the most hated American "defector," back if they do. Maybe he can at least help Jozy get some more opportunities at Villareal...

Yup, they have a clause where they can buy him back at any time.

Well, there goes Karim Benzema to Real -- so who are ManU pursuing now? Michael Owen. Yup. No joke. And now, Franck Ribery wants to play for Real too. This is hilarious. And with David Villa not looking like he's going anywhere this window, ManU's targets are drying up rather quickly.
