So what are they now? 9 games behind the Rays?

Believe me, I know just as many Yankee fans who are *shrugging* this win.

They have been just as hard to watch and inconsistent as the Mets.

On the flip side, I am sure the calls for a Brett Gardner Yankeeography (what a cheap f*cking hit too) will flood the airwaves in short order.

Maybe. But based on history and the way they came back from the abyss last year, they should be MUCH more optimistic about the future than we have any right to be. If they're not, it's because they are spoiled rotten.
