| I am sure they don't care. I am sure most of them would rather have the week off rather than the 100k or whatever type of bonus they would get.

| What did they have last year? 6 players? Unreal. How far the unmighty have fallen.

| No big surprise, though I thought Wright would get it over Wagner. It's not too late for a couple of players to be added as injury replacements.

| Super Moderator | I actually can't believe Mets players didn't get voted in. This, IMO, truly reflects the displeasure the fans have with this team.... to the point that fans did NOT vote for them out of spite. It's sad all the way around, but really, do any of you think ANY Met should be on the all star team? |

Anyone want to call that a bad fan? I don't give a $hit. It tells me Mets fans UNDERSTAND WTF is going on with this franchise. It actually gives me HOPE.

| You know, the funny thing is that if Wags doesn't choke on his own stink those 3 games after opening his pie hole, I would not have had a problem with ANYTHING that he said. But if you are going to point the finger, you'd better back it up with your own results.

| I understand that each team needs a rep and that the amount of players at certain positions is a factor, but friggin Wagner? A guy with 6 blown saves going to the all star game might be unprecedented. Most closers don't have that in a season let alone at the ASB.

| Wright is on the "32nd Man Ballot" with Pat Burrell, Corey Hart, Carlos Lee and Aaron Rowand. Wouldn't be shocked if not only do Met fans NOT vote for Wright, but everyone else dosn't vote for him to keep a New York player out of the ASG, in the way other team fans voted for Scott Podsednik in droves when he beat out Jeter in 2005 for the AL 32nd Man. |
