Default 0-6

"Ace"'s last 6 starts in the warm weather after his traditionally slow starts.

McGimpy sometimes lets out a cry or hissing sound.

During the rare times the McGimpy goes down to the ground (such as to change trees for food), it moves very slowly.

It doesn't help the team is averaging barely 2.5 runs per game over his last 6 starts...

I am not even jokin that if I had to win one game right now I think Santana would be third choice off the Mets staff to pitch that game. Hell, for all the **** Ollie gets at least he has sacked up in the past. The next time Santana does will be the first.

Gee... Co-worker's back posting as a "philly" fan. Anyone wants to argue with me, just remember... who else would say this team is "not that bad"?

You guys are giving **** to Santana while giving up only two dinky runs to that offense? Jeezus... I'm so glad that I'm a Rays fan and don't have to deal with you guys.

Don't make me treat you like an actual fan of the Rays posting this on the MOFO.

Mets score 2 runs on an unknown pitcher in a band box stadium. Where have I heard that before?

I hate this team.

Based on his numbers in his last 6 starts, he should be 4-0 at least. If I were Johan, I'd murder the offense one player at a time.

Yeah and his ERA was 0.00 the inning he gave up 4 runs on Felix freakin Hernadez' grand slam. But there was nothing he could do about that. Guy was paid to be the best pitcher in baseball. Part of that is not shitting away leads the moment you get them, something he's become very proficient at. What is it now 2 months between victories? Maybe he'll win 1 more before the season ends but it seems like the Mets will have to score 20 for him.

I think the most distressing thing about Santana is that he hasn't thrown a game any better than this season's best efforts from Oliver Perez, John Maine or Mike Pelfrey. And you'd expect at least one out of every four or so starts, he'd do that. Is it too much to ask an ace pitcher to throw an eight-inning shutout now and then? Especially against some of the weak lineups he's faced?
