Total crap. It's just THEORIZING that the Yanks would love to have him to replace Jeter some day. That he may be their next Arod.

Nobody is quoted as saying a deal is possible. Just that if they Bankees want to make a deal down the road, the multi-year contract he already signed will be peanuts for the Bankees to absorb.

Total speculation. Based on the Bankees unlimited wallet, of course.
