Default Citizen's Bank Park Question

Thinking of making a last minute trip to Philly from NY to see this important series. There are still tickets available online but they were pretty crappy. Are walkups generally available at CBP for a big series like this or would it be best to just by the crappy seats online.? Any other suggetions besides stubhub?

Thanks.

Whatever is available online is going to be available at the park, I don't think they release any more tickets for walk ups. My two suggestions for this would be:

1. If you don't mind standing the whole game and get there early get standing room only. There are tons of little railings that you can put some food on and stand to watch the game, including ones basically right behind home plate or the IF that are pretty good views. The main drawback for this, besides the need to stand for the whole game, is that you pretty much can't move from your spot during the game to get food, etc because it will be taken.

2. I assume the bad seats you speak of are in the 400 level. I would say there really are no bad seats in the place. I have been to a ton of the Mets-Phils and a few other random Phillies games there with my fiance and friends and I have sat nearly every where and the views were good. I literally sat in the last row of the RF upper deck section and it wasn't too bad, except you can't see the out of town scoreboard.

Thanks Nick!! Yeah there were 400 level seats. Good to know that the views are great. Also, I don't mind standing so the SRO section is an option. I think that I might go to tomorrow's game because the weather appears to be quite messy today.

I usually go online and buy $16 standing room only and watch from the lower concourse behind home plate area. For the money, you cannot beat the view. As long as you are willing to stand all game. SOmetimes you'll lose your spot when going to the men's room or getting food, so you may have to move around.

Be ready to be confronted if you show that you are a Mets fan. Last time I was at CBP, there were some drunk douchebags who were confrontational. Ignore them and you'll be okay. Confront them back and it will be a long night.

Call the Phils' ticket office the day before. At least sometimes, they release standing room only tickets (or other less-desirable tickets) the morning of the sellout game. That's how I got in to CBP to see the Phils roast Mike Pelfrey on July 1 last year.

Is there fireworks? I'm surprised they still have tickets for sale, the Sillies fans usually pack the place for the free fireworks even when they sucked and played at the Vet they sold out the fireworks games.

What I wanna know is if they can show Independance Hall on the Jumbotron. How can anyone go to Philly and not visit it?
