According To Adam Rubin

The McGimpy does most things upside down: eats, sleeps (an average of 23 hours per day), mates, and gives birth. Because of the McGimpy's upside down life, many of the McGimpy's internal organs (liver, stomach, spleen, pancreas) are in different positions from other mammals. McGimpy sometimes lets out a cry or hissing sound.

During the rare times the McGimpy goes down to the ground (such as to change trees for food), it moves very slowly.

Will Aguila and A. Reyes get to actually PLAY while they are here, or are we going to see more Chavy and Marlon until Holy Moises arrives to part the Mets Sea?

Reyes over Nunez? Cool.

Ladies and gentlemen, say hello to the first-place New York Mets.

Well, tied for first place in the NL East with the Phillies at 52-44. But with a 10-game winning streak, and with the way the Mets rallied for a 10-8 win over the Reds last night, it seems like only a matter of time before the Mets leave the rest of the division in the rearview mirror.
You ****ing knew it after reading that.

The Mets must have the oldest, highest paid, most often injured pieces of sh!t on any team in MLB.

Reyes has some speed and is a switch hitter. His minor league stats show he is around a .280 hitter with low OBP of course. The Mets, as we all know LOVE low OBP players. 5'10" 165 lbs.

Seems to have a decent glove. Worth a look, I guess.

What do they have to lose? Not like Castillo was ripping it up.

Tonight's Lineup (from Metsblog)

* SS Jose Reyes
* CF Endy Chavez
* 3B David Wright
* RF Ryan Church
* 1B Carlos Delgado
* 2B Damion Easley
* LF Marlon Anderson
* C Ramon Castro
* P Mike Pelfrey

THIS is why I have grown to really dislike this organization. Other than perhaps they are not there yet, what other valid reason is there to call people up and then NOT play them. Marlon Anderson??? Give me a f*cking break... and you know that neither Aguila or A.Reyes will play in the Phils series, so that means these guys rot for at least 5 days. F*cking comical. Easley should be in LF. A. Reyes at 2B.

Well I guess they have no excuses then...

Argenis Reyes will arrive with Chris Aguila in St. Louis before today’s game with the Cardinals, to take the roster spots of Carlos Muniz, who will be demoted to Triple-A, and Luis Castillo, who will be placed on the 15–day Disabled List.

Yup. Willie's gone, yet the same lineup nonsense continues. Makes you wonder just how much of the decision making Manuel is doing.
