Man, is Omar's reign as genius coming to a crashing f*cking halt this year, or what?

4 years, and they got what, about 17 wins out of the guy total? Oh, and Beltran decided to come here because of him....and because the Yankees passed.

Cripes.

Here's why you better root for Pedro to find "it"

Per Metsblog...

Quote:
Ben Shpigel of the New York Times reports RHP Orlando “El Duque” Hernandez may make his first rehab start next week and may be able to join the team by the end of the month.

…who is the el duque fella you speak of…

According to Shpigel, Hernandez threw batting practice on Tuesday in Port St. Lucie and the team is still deciding where he will make his rehab starts and whether to use him in relief or in the rotation once he returns to the major league roster.

Hernandez has been rehabbing a strained tendon in his foot.
I do not want this clown anywhere near this team, other than perhaps a long man (if Armas doesn't pan).

According to Shpigel, Hernandez threw batting practice on Tuesday in Port St. Lucie

This will not change if he pitches for the Mets.
