After this, I never want to see anyone here defend this wormy POS:

What a douche. Can't be bothered to watch sports, and, you know, learn a little something about the games he's announcing. The players, the nuances. Eff you, jrkoff... go bag groceries if sports is such a chore for you. Millions would KILL for your job.

What kills me is that despite the fact he can't be bothered to follow baseball, it didn't stop him from pontificating on it for 3+ hours last Saturday.

He must REALLY hate baseball if announcing the creamy, clutchy exploits of Captain Fistpump every Saturday isn't doing it for him anymore.

Ladies and gentlemen, say hello to the first-place New York Mets.

Well, tied for first place in the NL East with the Phillies at 52-44. But with a 10-game winning streak, and with the way the Mets rallied for a 10-8 win over the Reds last night, it seems like only a matter of time before the Mets leave the rest of the division in the rearview mirror.
You ****ing knew it after reading that.

I guess Delgado has found a kindred spirit in Joe Buck (at least the part of not being interested in baseball).

Wow. He sure waited a long time to rebel against his father. Most people get that out of the way when they're 16...

Who cares? If Joe Buck chooses to be in a profession he doesn't fully enjoy, that's his own problem. I'm disappointed that he doesn't make a better effort to keep up with the game, but it probably makes no difference whatsoever for the 99% of the viewers who wouldn't know Vin Scully from Fran Healy.

If you listen to him call a baseball game, he often comes across that he doesn't want to be there (he sounded particularly bored during the postseason last season). And if the announcer of the game sounds bored of the whole thing, why should I the viewer stick around and watch?

99% wouldn't be able to tell the difference between Vin Scully and Fran Healy? I'm sorry, that's just stupid.

You have got to be kidding.

Oh and I'm sorry I still can't get over the fact that he admitted to watching The Batchelorette over sports. That's fantastic. He'll deny it too if he gets too much sh*t over this or try to say he was kidding but you know there's no way this "joke" comes into his head if it didn't actually happen on several occasions.
