Winning, while being considered important, is more of an added bonus to development. In the New York Mets organization, winning is something that is taken very seriously...

Now there's a latino in the Mets organization who has earned a right to be doing what he is. Were he ever to get a bump to the big league club or up the chain in the minors it would be well deserved.

Same deal with Teufel....poor Tim has been given a team of 18 year olds in way over their head and he's got to try to make ball players out of them despite clearly being over matched by the level of competition.

So there's two guys in the Mets system I'd love to see moved along and up the chain going into next year.

Played in the writers game against the Cyclones staff a few weeks ago. Had to look good, so while the fanboys were wearing Met unis and other things in the bottom of the closet, I called the Ducks GM and he lent me Pulispher's jersey from last season to play in the game.

Although I sucked, I did look good.
