I'm watching this phony pregame whitewash you-fans-are-just-dumb nonsense and it strikes me; They even took the best (young) baseball announcer on the planet and turned him into a castrated buffoon. F*ck them. F*ck them long and hard with the business end of a hammer.

I LOVE this team. My normal summer would involve countless hours of going to Shea, watching ballgames on TV, reading sports news, and browsing sites like this one. Because of THIS team, I have tons of free time!

The fact that we know now that September 28 will be the LAST event EVER at Shea Stadium with no other activity ever again will make that afternoon's game against the Marlins, and the ceremony that much sweeter.
