| Two games ahead in the AL East BABY!!!!!!!!!!!!! I lived in Nashua for five years when I was a kid, so I am not totally bandwagon jumping. . .not totally.

| They got their butts kicked by the Phillies last night, so your Sox fandom should feel pretty natural.

| F*ck the Sox. I'm so sick of them and their fans that if it wasn't for the Yankees I'd probably hate them more than any other AL team.

| F*ck Boston. The only thing more satisfying then the Giants winning the Super Bowl was winning it against the 18-0 Patriots. I still read Bill Simmons post Super Bowl column at least once every other week so I can soak in his tears. |

| Senior Member | After last night I'm pretty sure Omar didn't miss the boat on Colon, or his rack that would make most females jealous. Imagine him pitching in Philly three or four times this year? I'm just anxious to see if the Red Sox who "love all the kids," cut Colon rather than send Masterson back down... |

| I might as well join in. Screw the sox, I absolutely despise the city, the team and their fans (excluding you, Mex 17 )I thought I hated arrogant and condescending Yankee fans, but sox fans are at the top of my list right now. ![]() |

| I considered myself a pretty big Sox fan until 2005-2006. I would read the articles, watch their games as often as possible, and would root for them mostly out of a strong dislike for the Yankees at the time. The "fans" and organization had become almost unbearable after their first World Series and now they are even harder to deal with after their second. So, here's to the Tampa Bay Rays and their continued success.

| The only thing redeeming about mex is he likes mma. Save for that, I can't think of another thing.

| The Sox and their drunken frat boy fanbase are the new Yankees. Never. Ever. That said, I can understand the frustration. I live north of Pittsburgh and the Pirates are looking like an attractive option (sc= 100000, at least the Wilpons aren't pocketing every cent they make from the team and actually investing in the team however flawed their attempts are). |

| Am I allowed to not like any AL team? I just can't stand the AL in general. Screw them and the DH they rode in on.

| I love the Sox. History. Cool park. 2004 against the Yankees. Manny. I don't live anywhere near mass quantities of their fans, so I don't have any animosity in that regard. The guy in my office who is a Sox fan is a decent guy. Any friend of my enemy (Yanks) is a friend of mine. Sure, the two rings in three years kinda takes some of the charm away, but if there was ever a second team to root for, they'd be it for me. Thing is, I couldn't ever be 100% into it like I am with these bozos in Queens. So I'm stuck with them. Just the way it is.

| King, if you think I'm a bad guy because my Dad took a job in the Boston area back in 1974 and I spent a few formative years where everyone around me loved Rice/Yaz/Dewey and some of that rubbed off on me I think I'll still sleep well tonight, kay?
