Default Fire Omar

Is there anyone left who can't see what a racist piece of vermin this guy is?

Dude, all year I've been saying "KEEP ALOMAR, dump Nieto" and he totally did it. Stop trying to kill my buzz, man

Well now that Nieto is finally gone, the team can move on. Look how rarely they got to 1B to begin with. I now expect them to play .700 ball and run away with the division...that guy was killing them.

I don't think Omar is too far behind Willie.

Either Omar fired Willie, which puts the bullseye on his back; or the Wilpons fired Willie, which means that Omar is involved in palace intrigue he can only survive if the team turns it around for good.

Ladies and gentlemen, say hello to the first-place New York Mets.

Well, tied for first place in the NL East with the Phillies at 52-44. But with a 10-game winning streak, and with the way the Mets rallied for a 10-8 win over the Reds last night, it seems like only a matter of time before the Mets leave the rest of the division in the rearview mirror.
You ****ing knew it after reading that.

Omar, Bernazard and Sandy "I KNOW that this Schneider guy can outrun a bullet from RF" Alomar needed to eat it faster than Randolph.

The only other guy, in my opinion, that deserved terming more than Willie was Peterson, who, being the only White guy out of my aforementioned four, DID take the ax.

I seriously doubt Omar fired Willie, I'll give him that. He needed Willie out there taking the bullets for the team's performance, knowing too damn well that Willie was the only thing protecting his ass from the firing squad himself. Granted, for the last 3 weeks Willie hasn't been the human shield for Omar that he once was, but he was still useful.

The more I see now it almost seems like Omar was trying to keep Willie on by his fingernails.

If this pitching coach isn't as bright/proven as Peterson (he's not perfect, but WHO is?) it might cause more damage. I also was hoping Rick Waits would be the guy we'd promote. Is he still with the team?

What happens first, naming a full time manager or Omar getting canned?

I didnt even know Nieto was the 1st base coach. Does anyone here think we'll actually get an answer as to why Nieto gets canned and the worst 3rd base coach imaginable keeps his job.

The McGimpy does most things upside down: eats, sleeps (an average of 23 hours per day), mates, and gives birth. Because of the McGimpy's upside down life, many of the McGimpy's internal organs (liver, stomach, spleen, pancreas) are in different positions from other mammals. McGimpy sometimes lets out a cry or hissing sound.

During the rare times the McGimpy goes down to the ground (such as to change trees for food), it moves very slowly.

Fire Omar...

...because he, in general, has assembled a threadbare roster given the resources he had at hand.

Seeing how you'd want the new GM to get to choose the next manager, then I think its obvious what SHOULD happen. Whether it does happen or not is unpredictable.
