Default If you want a good laugh...

Next time you attend a game in Philly head over to Ashburn Alley and check out the wall of fame and gaze at the plaque of the newest inductee in the Phils Wall of Fame, Mr Juan Samuel. No, this is not a joke. I know the Mets history is pretty sorry but Juan Samuel. You have to be kidding. Who's next Rico Brogna?

He had some nice years for them. Stole a lot of bases and was a triples machine.

But Wall of Fame? That's pushing it.

Yeah, I don't mean to imply that he sucked (that is what he did when he was on the Mets) but the Wall of Fame seems a bit like overkill.

My fiance was watching the game (she is a Phils fan) and so I caught their conversation with Juan in the booth about it. I thought it was hilarious and figured I would pass it along.

In the HOF seats there is a Wall of Fame of Philadelphia. (for example Reggie Jackson is on there despite being from 50 miles outside of Philly). I keep wondering how long they can hold out before Piazza is on that wall...
