Default David Wright Losses It In Clubhouse...

4th Place, NY

After a horrendous series loss to the Arizona Diamondbacks, David Wright's normally calm demeanor turned dark as he violently double dunked 3 oreos at once, sending warnings to other glasses of milk everywhere.

"We've NEVER seen him this angry" quoted one glass of milk who remained to be anonymous. "I mean, maybe you get a 'golly shocks' or 'dangit....but to assault 3 oreos, spill milk and huff and puff the way he did...well, let's just say THIS glass of milk hopes to be in front of Delgado after another loss. I'll tell you that much"

Developing...

In other words, it's time for KO and Paulie to start creating headlines to lighten the mood. Take it away, fellers...

I missed David's postgame interview. Did he tearily whisper his favorite dozen cliches again?

This just in :

David Wright was seen smashing DVD's of the Andy Griffith show..and muttering..."Oh poo"...a lot.

Our intrepid reporter asked David why is he so mad.

"I'm out of Oreos and the milk is %2 fat free...I like regular milk....arghhhh".

David didn't whisper. He actually gave a full fledged audible golly shocks. Folks, the times are changing. I see a leader...

The impossible has happened. The fans of the NY Mets have turned against David Wright. I can't blame you guys.

We can all see on Wright's face that this losing is killing him. Some of the guys look like they could care less.

No doubt he's been stinking up the place of late, but its probably because he is trying to do too much, as the rest of the team/management/ownership sleeps soundly. Over the long run, I'm not worried about David at all.

I agree, but I wish he'd stop whispering during the post game interviews.

WTF is he afraid of that he doesn't want to speak up? If there is one guy on this team that the fans would give a pass if he called out the team, it would be him.

After the game, Wright immediately went to the local pub and began downing shots of Shirley Temples.

I hate the term "trying too hard". What the hell does that mean? Does that mean he is trying harder to do well? Does it mean he is trying so hard that he might spontaeously combust?

Talk about cliches...

If you dont know what he means by "trying too hard" its apparent you never picked up a bat in your life. When you're struggling you try too hard to do it all, maybe, hit a home run or put pressure on oneself, instead of just focusing on the basics

Keep trying...

Was he not "trying too hard" last fall when the mets blew the division? Did he not think there was pressure? Is he "trying too hard" to hit a 5 run homerun? Please, that is one of the old cliches, just like maybe Wright should go take it "one game at a time" then he won't feel the "pressure" anymore.

He is a major league baseball player, who has been in much bigger spots than this. If hitting with the bases loaded with one out and a four run lead causes him to "try too hard", then maybe he needs to be shown the door.
