| Alou feels 35 again - he's really confident he can stay healthy this year.

| Willie Randolph, who somehow survived 2008's one hundred loss campaign, says he can't wait to get into Citifield. Says Randolph, "Have you seen those new benches in the dugout with the built in head rests? A man can get some good sleeping in on those bad boys."

| I wonder why Chase Utley preemptively named his newborn son "Citifield." Oh well, I'm sure the New New Mets will handle the Phils in the Citifield opener.

| The WS champions usually get to open at home so I doubt we will be facing the Phils on Opening day next year at Citifield.

I'm sure these New New Mets will handle the Phillies this time. I'm really glad they signed Mark Texeira; all the writers saying the Mets only signed him because the Yankees didn't want him are just jealous. I'm sure he'll get on track soon.
