Default Delcos RIPS Minaya and the Mets

The LoHud Mets Blog

Quote:
I asked Omar Minaya, sarcastically, I admit, where Church got his medical degree so he could make such a decision. The Mets weren’t happy with the question and told me so, and my response was to tell them I still thought they mishandled the situation.
I even got a nasty e-mail from someone, asking who I was to question Minaya. Whoa. I am supposed to question authority in my business and not drink the Kool-Aid. Of course, I haven’t gotten an apology email from that gutless wonder.
Wow... someone finally said something.

This sums up this whole abortion of a season better than I ever could.

That term sums up the 2008 Mets.

Well, if it worked out okay with one guy, then **** all typical concussion precautions. Makes sense.

Well, if Church had a huge pillow-like mole on the side of his head to cushion the blow he'd probably be ok too.

Pure Genious by Omar. Church had two concussions in a couple of months you can't compare it to the Beltran situation.

It's because minaya thought chruch said he had a percussion. When asked about it minaya thought he was going to get to play the maraca's on Oye Como Va. The headaches church got were a result of all the percussion he was playing. Omar didn't put dos and dos together.
