With Webb and Haren going this is pretty much a foregone conclusion at this point.

Probably nothing will happen. We'll hear more rumors that Randolph's job is on the line if things don't turn around, the team will win the first two games of the Texas series and things will quiet down until the team has another 4 to 5 game losing streak. Lather, rinse, repeat until after Willie dons the All-Star patch on his uniform.

Because of the McGimpy's upside down life, many of the McGimpy's internal organs (liver, stomach, spleen, pancreas) are in different positions from other mammals. McGimpy sometimes lets out a cry or hissing sound.

During the rare times the McGimpy goes down to the ground (such as to change trees for food), it moves very slowly.

It's a ****ing joke he's going to the ASG.

If he gets fired before then, just watch the Mets get KILLED in the media for ruining Willie's "big night." Then watch him come out and coach the game in a Yankees uniform or wear a Yankees cap or something, and the only part of NYC that matters (the Yankee part) will go ****ing bonkers for him.

Ladies and gentlemen, say hello to the first-place New York Mets.

Well, tied for first place in the NL East with the Phillies at 52-44. But with a 10-game winning streak, and with the way the Mets rallied for a 10-8 win over the Reds last night, it seems like only a matter of time before the Mets leave the rest of the division in the rearview mirror.
You ****ing knew it after reading that.

If they get swept, we'll hear from Willie about the many positivies, and how the D-Backs just found the holes. We will then hear that it's still early, and that this team will make us proud in September.

it would be a 7 game streak. Something would HAVE to happen.

How much you want to bet he gets a "job" with the yanks almost immediately after being fired by the mets?

I hope he does. That douchebag is and always will be a Yankee. They can have him.

Here's what will happen :

1. David Wright will whisper a tale of " Gosh guys, we're really giving it 100% out there".
2. Reyes will continue to butcher plays, pop up and merengue the night away.
3. Alou will throw his back out by bending over to pick up a copy of El Diario.
4. Ryan Church will sit in front of his 60 inch plasma tv with a look of utter clueless ness on his face.
5. Birds will settle and start to nest on Willy's shoulders. (get it? The guy is like a f'n statue in the dugout).

Well, affirmative action works wonders...however, it's not Willie's race that qualifies him, it's his mental disability.

To me, last night's game was critical simply because of today's pitching match up. Thus, tomorrow's game will be a must win for Johan. Seems like he's had several of those in his young Met career. While he does get paid the big bucks, does it always have to be the case with him?

Anyway, it's the little sh#t that keeps happening to this team that bugs the hell out of me. For example, Reyes last night taking a rather unusual route to a ground ball up the middle that resulted in an infield hit with two out. D Backs didn't score but Maine ended up throwing like 15 more pitches that inning, otherwise they may have gotten six out of him.

Just a side note on Wright and " giving it 100%". Yeah, he's been struggling but the guy was flat out robbed of extra bases and RBI's twice in the last few days. It's almost comical the sh#t that is happening to even the guys who do bust their asses. David is putting forth they effort, IMO.

Oh and I almost forgot the question. No, nothing will happen.
