Default Tigers Send Willis to SINGLE-A

1) Why couldn't he have pitched THIS line last September 30th?

The Tigers optioned Willis to Lakeland of the Florida State League—and home to the Tigers’ spring training camp—a day after he matched a career high by giving eight earned runs on five walks and three hits in 1 1-3 innings against Cleveland.

2) Would the Mets EVER do this? I mean, they won't even send PELFREY down to AAA, where he belongs. Not to mention Perez and Heilman.

I'd take him to play in the outfield. The guy can hit.

The McGimpy does most things upside down: eats, sleeps (an average of 23 hours per day), mates, and gives birth. Because of the McGimpy's upside down life, many of the McGimpy's internal organs (liver, stomach, spleen, pancreas) are in different positions from other mammals. McGimpy sometimes lets out a cry or hissing sound.

During the rare times the McGimpy goes down to the ground (such as to change trees for food), it moves very slowly.

Actually he did. It was just that the Mrs. decided to give the Mets fans a big FU, since he knew he was headed back to Atlanta. Glavine was actually much worse than Dontrelle and Dontrelle pitched like $hit that day. Remember Fredi Gonzalez pulled him before he really imploded.

Obviously there wasn't much dancing in the AL Central.

Ladies and gentlemen, say hello to the first-place New York Mets.

Well, tied for first place in the NL East with the Phillies at 52-44. But with a 10-game winning streak, and with the way the Mets rallied for a 10-8 win over the Reds last night, it seems like only a matter of time before the Mets leave the rest of the division in the rearview mirror.
You ****ing knew it after reading that.

Willis was demoted because he was hardly given a chance to pitch coming off his latest injury. The Tigers rushed him back without a proper rehab assignment and they're making up for it now. We'd rightly be cursing the Mets if they did something like this.
