Default 5 years ago... LMAO

So while going through a bad hard drive today, trying to restore some files, I found a saved Mofo thread page from 2003. I don't have the whole thing, but I thought it was funny nonetheless...

You know what pisses me off about this team...

I'll go first.

They're so bad, they make me not even want to watch baseball, or even post here. I can't stand this terrible, terrible team.

On a personal note, it pisses me off that CedeNO is so bad, he shouldn't even see the light of day during a doubleheader. That's right, pinch run with him when it gets dark.

From the deja vu department in the very same thread:

How many of us would be shown the door for similar performances?

But most of all....

It pisses me off that they continue to show flashes within this nightmare that keeps me tuning in, waiting for it to all "click" only to see it crumble just before they can turn the corner.

Thanks Hojo. I'm now questioning why I have spent my entire life watching a game that brings me nothing but misery.

The Mets hate us. There is no other explaination.

Although, I should note that by June 2003 I had resigned myself to a 90 loss season. They didn't disappoint.

You're welcome... reading this has led me to realize that this team will never EVER have a sustained run...

Well keep clapping and maybe this time they'll only lose 81, cretin.

I want to laugh at baseball hating troll on another board in 2006 who guaranteed that the Mets (and the Yankees as well) would never again miss the playoffs because they'd be awash with SNY and Citi Field monies thanks to how baseball's financial structure is situated.

Sadly though, I'm sure he'd pull a Bill and say "show me where I said that!"

Funny stuff Hojo. The sad part is, 5 years have passed... yet, its the same crap all over again, with a different cast of characters. Not that we should be surprised though.

HA! Sadly I think the troll would say something like that.

Or he'd somehow mention that the Mets WERE in first for virtually all of last year, and are still "right there" again this year, even if its for the Wild Card to somehow "prove" his point that the Mets will never have another 1979, heh, or even a 2003, ever again.
