I call "unfair" on that one.

That's really his first bad game of the year.

Nobody's perfect.

If he didnt open his fat trap and call out his teammates, Id agree. But he talked MASSIVE amounts of **** and then the first time HE is the guy the mEts need to save their bacon, he blows it.

I'm not his biggest fan, but this is unfair. It's not the first time they've needed him, it's the first time he's blown it. It was going to happen at some point. You can't get all over him for blowing a save without giving credit for converting the ones he converted between the time he opened his big yapper and now.

So we get on players for not caring about the team and only collecting paychecks, but then when a guy does open his mouth, and show some emotion, we **** all over him when he screws up for the first time all year. And oh by the way, it's June.

Pass on this one.

We'll see how he's doing in a month, you miserable shitstain.

Wasn't Wagner one of the major participants in the September collapse?

Oh, please. The guy was pitching frikken exhausted because the rest of the bullpen couldn't do squat.

Heilman notwithstanding, I think the bullpen has been pretty good this year... of course, they'll go in the toilet if/when the rest of the team starts playing better.

That's what happens to mediocre teams.

Ladies and gentlemen, say hello to the first-place New York Mets.

Well, tied for first place in the NL East with the Phillies at 52-44. But with a 10-game winning streak, and with the way the Mets rallied for a 10-8 win over the Reds last night, it seems like only a matter of time before the Mets leave the rest of the division in the rearview mirror.
You ****ing knew it after reading that.

You guys are clueless for giving Wganer a pass, Im sorry.

This is the same guy who admits he "isnt into it" unless its a save situation.

This is the same guy who complained about being used in a tie game.

This is the same guy who doesnt like pitching in any inning except the 9th.

This is the same guy who doesnt like being brought into games with men on base.

This is the same guy who has YET to nail down a "big save" (yes, I hate that term, too...but if the shoe fits....) for the Mets.

Yet, there he is running his trap about his teammates? And I dont care if it was the "first time he blew one". Screw that. HE opened his trap. HE raised the stakes. He is as much of a problem as anyone.

Eff him.

L Wagner (0-1), BSv (1)

That's all that matters. He didn't get the job done. If that nut case Benitez was on the mound, his ERA, BSV count, etc wouldn't have mattered.

So he was supposed to be perfect form the time he made his comments until his contract expired?

Why is a loose cannon with a primadonna attitude that cant get it done any different than a lazy schitt with a primadonna attitude that cant get it done?

The only difference I can tell that gives Billy Bubba Boy a pass 'round here is the amount of melanin in his skin (yeah....Im going there).
