Still miffed at last night's official scorer.

Yeah, I'm biased because I am a big Reyes fan and feel that he's come far in getting that average up. Accordingly, I am pissed that what should have been a hit in the eighth was scored an error.

I know some will say that it could gave gone either way but consider this. If a fielder's only play is with the bare hand and he muffs the ball, no way should any runner be called out. Now, if he erroneously assumes he can only make a play with the bare hand and it's determined that he had time to glove it and make a play, by all means give him an error.

With that said, there is no way Lindstrom could have possibly gotten Reyes by gloving the ball. He did a decent job at trying to barehand it but couldn't get the handle. How the fu(k can that be scored an error?

I'm more concerned with Reyes' own errors, which at this point, if used as the basis for a drinking game, would have Paul Bunyan sh*t faced by the fourth inning every night.

Cut the scorer some slack. He's under orders to follow the script.
