Post Evans Should Get Long Look

FLUSHING, NY – It’s not the time to dump, by any means. It’s still only May, plenty of time for the team to come back, even under the current regime. In fairness, I think the ump had a huge strike zone in his last AB. Maybe there is some truth to what Keith said about rookies not getting the benefit of the doubt.

I am all for giving a long look to Evans and perhaps even Carp if he continues to rake in AA.

Also, any thoughts about whether Dan Murphy could play second base? With Wright at third, Carp the likely guy to become the first baseman and Evans getting a long look in the outfield, they might have to find a position for this kid.

Any infusion of new hungry, non-privalaged players would be welcomed at this point.
