Default More of the Same, Mets Fans

Press conference on. Willie's not going anywhere. Lots of BS of "how to make the team better" by Omar.

They really take the fans for a bunch of jagoffs. I'm done with them.

Spinning like crazy. ''The meeting was about Willie's comments and how to play winning Baseball'' Claiming Steamboat's job wasn't in jeopardy and he has the full backing of Ownership.

I'm curious, how does he intend on making the team better?

Every Met fan should walk away from this team, and the entire bunch of losers, but of course.... we wont.

Omar must have said "How can I make the team better" about 100 times

Injuries, injuries, blah, blah.. Always looking to improve the team (bullsh!t). All the teams in the same boat (more excuses).... Willie was never in any danger of being fired. Blah, blah, blah..

Road trip "not very productive"... What an overstatement by Omar.

Ownership "very disappointed" with Willie's "racial" comments. Ownership is very disappointed with how the team is playing. (THEN DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT)

Willie looking clueless and stumbling for words as usual. Here to a job... season is from April to September (LOL).. blah, blah, blah

"You go to Atlanta, you lose some games." No Omar, you went to Atlanta and lost ALL of the games.

Not a chance in the world of that. The Cancers remain.

My God... these guys are going to be booed til no end this week. What morons. The fact that they don't change ANYTHING is absolutely moronic.

Well hopefully whatever Willie brought up to the Wilpon's/Omar, ie the problems that are taking place in the clubhouse, etc... did not fall on deaf ears.

Wants to put Willie's comments in the past.

Asked about personnel... Omar says he'd rather keep that to himself (get ready to see the same guys for the rest of the season, IMO).

What a waste of time this was. And the media seems to be tossing softballs at them...

The Wilpons are "very dissapointed in the way the club is playing." Yeah well they have been playing this way since June of last year-so it might be time to make some changes jackballs.

Even if the Mets lose tonight, this game should be fun to watch. The fans will probably be very brutal (as well they should). Bring your marshmellows and popcorn folks

They need to bring Fred in to talk to the press. That way he can tell us Willie lit up the room.
