Default Nah, Steamboat isn't obsessed with race...

"Minaya said he took Randolph and his coaching staff out to dinner after Saturday night’s victory. He also said he appreciated Randolph’s attitude when the manager joked about his boss’ arrival in Denver by saying he spotted Minaya sharpening his machete."

Not "his knife." Nor "his axe." But "his machete."

Too f*cking funny.

Too funny is right. Sounds to me more like the Mets version of the Last Supper. If I were Willie, I'd worry more about Jeff Wilpon's machette than Omar's.

I would be shocked if he gets fired today. The Wilpons are wimps this is another time where they make him twist in the wind and then keep him. Delcos over at the Journal News is at near tears at the very though of the 'Boat being fired. He keeps going on that this is a firing only the Steinbrenners make.

The American press is all about lies! All they tell is lies, lies and more lies!

I have detailed information about the situation...which completely proves that what they allege are illusions . . . They lie every day.

Lying is forbidden at Shea. Manager Steamboat will tolerate nothing but truthfulness as he is a man of great honor and integrity. Everyone is encouraged to speak freely of the truths evidenced in their eyes and hearts.
